Greener Berwick continues to get busier with regular events. Here are some of the things happening:

GOING GREEN TOGETHER, a NE umbrella body helping with networking and funding opportunities will give a FREE presentation 25th April 10.30 William Elder Building (organised jointly with BEA)

EXTINCTION REBELLION will be joined by 70 environmental organisations, including Friends of the Earth to whom Greener Berwick is affiliated, on 21 April to lobby the Houses of Parliament in London. This event will make it clear that the government are failing to do enough to address climate change. To join Greener Berwick members travelling down, please email info@greenerberwick.org.uk.

This event follows a more local one held on 24/3/23 where county hall in Morpeth was lobbied to divest of fossil fuels from their pension fund. See pics for Greener Berwick presence there, and the council leader listening and engaging with those lobbying.
